CoastalGuard® 2000-S Cooling System Cleaner

Product Information

CoastalGuard® 2000-S is a liquid polymeric dispersant and chelating agent designed to clean water systems such as:radiators, engine jackets and compressor cooling systems. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S is a non-acidic material.Corrosion inhibitors in this product prevent it from attacking cooling system metals. The product is compatible with awide range of elastomers. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S is designed to disperse iron and mineral scale deposits allowingthem to be flushed completely from the system. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S has an antifoam package, whichreduces foaming conditions during the cleaning phase.

Application

CoastalGuard® 2000-S may be applied to the cooling system by batch addition or by pre-diluting with good water and added to the water system .

Addition Rate: 1 pint per 2 gallons of system capacity. Depending on severity of the fouling condition, this rate maybe increased accordingly.

After adding the CoastalGuard® 2000-S to the water system, operate system 2 to 4 hours with the treatment mixture.Allow the water system to cool and flush with fresh water.

Handling Precautions

CoastalGuard® 2000-S is an industrial chemical and should be handled as such. Avoid contact with eyes, skin andclothing. In cases of eye contact, flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes and contact medical help.Users should thoroughly review the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
