CoastalGuard® 2000-S Cooling System Cleaner
Product Information
CoastalGuard® 2000-S is a liquid polymeric dispersant and chelating agent designed to clean water systems such as:radiators, engine jackets and compressor cooling systems. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S is a non-acidic material.Corrosion inhibitors in this product prevent it from attacking cooling system metals. The product is compatible with awide range of elastomers. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S is designed to disperse iron and mineral scale deposits allowingthem to be flushed completely from the system. The CoastalGuard® 2000-S has an antifoam package, whichreduces foaming conditions during the cleaning phase.Typical Physical Properties

Application
CoastalGuard® 2000-S may be applied to the cooling system by batch addition or by pre-diluting with good water and added to the water system .Addition Rate: 1 pint per 2 gallons of system capacity. Depending on severity of the fouling condition, this rate maybe increased accordingly.
After adding the CoastalGuard® 2000-S to the water system, operate system 2 to 4 hours with the treatment mixture.Allow the water system to cool and flush with fresh water.
