Product Information

CoastalGuard® 50 is a premium engine coolant used throughout the oil and gas industry. It is an inhibited ethylene glycol used as a heavy-duty industrial coolant and heat transfer fluid. The inhibitor system is designed to protect brass, copper, solder, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other natural metals commonly found in industrial cooling and heating systems.

CoastalGuard® 50 is a 50% solution in deionized water with freeze protection to -34°F.

CoastalGuard® 50 can be reinhibited as needed with CoastalGuard Supplemental Coolant Additives to ensure long service life.

CoastalGuard® 50 also satisfies all specifications as required by Waukesha, Caterpillar, Superior, and other engine manufacturers.
