The Production Treating Chemicals business unit provides products and services that cover all major areas of oil and gas production, pipeline transmission, and gas processing, including gas dehydration and gas sweetening. Our expert team of engineers, chemists, and microbiologists has years of experience developing applications and designing customized systems for use in oil and water treatment, overboard discharge, and industrial runoff. The Production Treating chemicals team has created a product line including antifoam or defoamer agents, biocides triethylene, glycol and water clarifiers.

The Production Treating Chemical business unit team works closely with each customer to select specific products and devise targeted solutions that maximize flow assurance and improve the customer's bottom line. Years of providing quality products, analytical services, and engineering solutions have enabled Coastal Chemical to develop a process that ensures each customer gets the results they need every time.

Providing Expert Solutions

The process begins with our field support personnel conducting detailed onsite surveys of the customer's operating system to isolate and identify any problems that can be solved through chemical applications. Our laboratory technicians then analyze the field team's findings in our own state-of-the-art laboratory facility using leading edge analytical services - including solids/liquid identification, gas processing fluid evaluation, and oilfield/industrial water analysis - that helps our experts devise the right solution to effectively eliminate typical processing problems.

Once an answer is devised, our technicians use proprietary software and hardware to pilot test the solution. We also ensure that the proposed solution meets our customers' contractual specifications on marketing their produced oil and gas, as well as provides the proper conditioning of produced water. Once established, our team meets with lease operators to review the proposed treatment strategy and agree on performance measurements. Coastal Chemical's field support personnel will follow-up periodically to fine tune and update the solution, guaranteeing its continual and long-term success.
